A School-wide Green Day to Celebrate Monroe's Academic Achievement in Language Arts and Math - California Department of Education "Dashboard" Release

As we close the year 2018, we do so on a high-note celebrating the academic achievement of the students at Monroe! The Monroe Elementary School Learning Community shines as a top school in the state of California and in the City of Monrovia. As a means of sharing the spirit of celebration, on Friday, December 21st, we will have a friendly class competition. A runner will come to each classroom and count the number of people dressed in GREEN.. All shades of GREEN will count! The class with the highest percentage of students and teacher(s) dressed in green will earn an Ice Cream Sunday Bar. The Ice Cream Sunday Bar will be on Friday, January 11, 2019, 12:30pm - 1:00pm.
