Enrichment Programs

Monroe School is proud to offer a variety of after-school enrichment programs for its students. There is instrumental music, including strings and vocal music for third grade students.

The Village After-School Program offers childcare, with homework help and other activities, on school days.

Renaissance Leadership Club: Renaissance was founded at MHS in 2003. Throughout the years, the foundation has grown from not only a high school program, but one also at the Monrovia Unified School District middle schools, and elementary schools. Renaissance students set examples of leadership, commitment, and kindness, not only on campus, but also within the community.  We work to spread spirit and to unify our school.  Numerous events are held each year by the Renaissance Foundation to keep our schools thriving and connected.  The program continuously looks for new ideas that we work hard at so they can come to life.  Much support is needed to expand this program and as it continues to prosper.

The GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Program is during the school day.

Monroe Extended Learning Program

Monroe Extended Learning Program provides students with opportunities to learn beyond the traditional school day.
  • We are proud to offer our students an art program called "Young Rembrandts" which takes place on Wednesdays.
