The Early Entrance Program (EEP) at Cal State LA is composed of a community of over 100 gifted students who are supported by dedicated staff, faculty, administrators, and alumni. Students who join the EEP are between the ages of 11 and 15, are ready for and have the desire to engage in college-level work, and are often seeking a peer group with whom they can connect with intellectually and socially. We hope you will help students who may benefit from joining the EEP find us.
We will be hosting an Open House on the Cal State LA campus on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Prospective students and their families can learn more about EEP and meet current EEP students, parents, staff and administrators. We will also host a tour of the EEP spaces.
The first step to being eligible for admissions to the EEP is to take the SAT or ACT examination. To be considered for Fall 2019 EEP admissions, there is one remaining ACT examination on April 13, 2019 that students may take. The regular registration deadline for this exam is March 8.
