Please join us for an afternoon of dance and celebrations as the fifth-grade Mighty Lions perform the Merengue, Tango, Salsa, and more!

5th Grade parents, if your child has his/her permission slip signed and is planning to attend the Clifton Dance at 4 PM this Friday, May 10, there is an opportunity for students to purchase a tile to paint for $15 for the Legacy Wall. If your child is interested in this, he/she can arrive at 3:30 PM to begin painting. The painting will only take place from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM and the Dance concludes at 7 PM.

We have a special treat for you after the Wednesday, May 8 performance of El Gato Montés: The Wildcat. Listen in on an intimate conversation with the cast of the opera! They will discuss their roles, careers, and love of the art form, all in Spanish. The talk will begin immediately following the performance in the Stern Grand Hall (2nd Floor Lobby).

The Saturday School will be at Wild Rose School of Creative Arts which is located at 232 Jasmine Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016. Lunch will be provided. Please see the attached flyers for details.

This is a Special Coffee as parents will learn about Reader's Workshop and visit a classroom during instruction to see the students and teacher in action. After Coffee with the Principal, please stay for the Title 1 meeting at 9:10 AM.

You won't want to miss this night of family fun including a DJ, prizes, student performances, carnival games, inflatables, silent auction, and so much more.

The second annual district-wide math competition for students from 3rd to 5th grade will be held at Wild Rose Elementary School.

Next Thursday, April 18th, two authors of children's books will come and read their stories to our Mighty Monroe students. Both authors will be at the blue lunch tables after school signing autographs of their books. You may pre-order a book using the order form, you may send money with your child, or you can purchase it yourself. Authors will only give autographs next Thursday after school, beginning at 2:35 PM. A portion of the proceeds will go to our school.
