Congratulations, Lion families! It is time to ROAR!!! Monroe has been chosen as a 2016 California Gold Ribbon School.

The District Annual Black History Art Festival will be held from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Saturday, February 13, at the School Cafeteria.

Kindergarten registration begins on Tuesday, February 9. Please visit our school office to pick up registration package from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Next week Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held every day. Students will be released at 11:55 AM from February 1 to February 5.

Monrovia Unified School District is working closely with the Monrovia Police Department in regards to the LAUSD bomb threat. At this time, there is no threat to Monrovia Unified School District. Schools will be open and follow their regular schedules. Officers will be around our schools today to provide reassurance, not in response to any threats. Should things change, we will contact parents immediately.

Today, December 10, 2015, Monroe experienced a lock-down. Police searched the campus and surrounding areas to make sure students were safe after a car theft in the area.
