Monrovia Holiday Parade: 7 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Please march with our school at the Monrovia Holiday Parade, which will be at 7 PM on December 7th. We will meet on Chestnut and Myrtle at 6 PM. The first 100 students to arrive will receive a fun Santa hat to wear as we march.
Monroe Resource Center will open from 2 PM to 4:45 PM on Monday, December 4, 2017. Our school’s Resource Center will open each Monday and Thursday beginning from December 4, 2017.
Latino Literacy Workshop: 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM on Friday, December 1, 2017. The Latino Literacy Workshops are free of charge and child care will be provided. At the first meeting, parents will receive pizza. Please come and join us at Room 8!
Information Meeting for Latino Literacy Program: 1 PM on Friday, November 17, 2017. On November 17 we invite our parents to come to an information meeting to learn about the Latino Literacy Program intended to teach families how to foster the love of reading at home. This will be a potluck style meeting that will begin at 1 PM and will end at 2 PM. Latino Literacy workshops will begin on December 1st. They are free of charge and child care will be provided.
Monroe’s Annual Harvest Festival: 3 PM – 6 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 October 28 will be Monroe’s Annual Harvest Festival. Join us for lots of great games, food, and fun from 3 pm to 6 pm at the school's blacktop and cafeteria.
