TK to 3rd-grade students will be dismissed at 2 PM.
4th and 5th-grade students will be dismissed at 2:35 PM.

Open to all Monrovia Unified School District students (TK through 8th Grade). Students may clear one absence by attending this fun and free Saturday School. Lunch will be provided for students at no cost. Please click on the link for details.

The Holiday Shop is OPEN this week at 7:30 AM, during recess, and at 2 PM. We invite you to shop our store and support our school.

A pizza dinner will be served. Agenda items include adopting an adjusted budget, paying and ratifying bills, and electing a nominating committee to fill open board positions for 2020-21. See you there!

Dear Families, weather permitting, the Monrovia Holiday Parade will be this Thursday, December 5th. Monroe elementary school will participate in the Monrovia Holiday Parade, and we ask that all of our Mighty Lions march in the parade with their school. We encourage all students to wear their ugly Xmas sweaters. If you don’t have one, a red shirt top will be great too. We will gather at the corner of Chestnut and Myrtle around 6:15 PM. The first 100 students to arrive will receive reindeer antlers to wear in the parade. Let’s all come together and represent our amazing school!

D'Veal Family and Youth Services will be beginning a no-cost evening parent support group called Parent University held at Clifton Middle School starting December 3, 2019! It is open to the community, not just D'Veal clients. Please see attached flyers in Spanish and English for details.
